Really good cover

The only thing I can knock on this song is the chorus and chorus buildup. The vocals were a little late and flat at times nothing to discourage you though. I like the sound of your voice and you have the feeling of Dave Mustaine. The solo is almost dead on. Just listen to the original for the timing a little closer and you'd nail this. For what it's worth, the parts you went flat were usually during the pied piper and the held Destruction....

Still a solid effort, keep up the great work and I will be checking in to listen to more.

Shouldn't even give you the honor

Of listening to these words of wisdom, but you should learn who played a song before butchering it and calling it a better remix. I wouldn't put it past your childish behavior to have a few accounts just to boast yourself up. You have proven to be a troll in every response. I'm sure if you're not too busy butchering another song or coming up with some lame childish comeback to this review you should enlighten yourself to the differences between metal, classic rock and techno and for the love of God learn who performed a song you say you improved, which an average of less than 4/10 speaks for itself. Even as a techno song, this song is poorly done. Get a clue, get a life and grow the hell up and most importantly, learn about rock, not how to make midi crap.

wow, completely unexpected and just down right rude. for your information, i have grown up, perhaps it is time you do the same.... (you can go ahead an PM me the apology, i doubt that will heal any of the pain you caused me though..)

Not too bad

Got a relaxing sound to it. Kind of slow moving though. Not much variety for it's pace until about half way through. All in all not a bad song. Keep it up.

Catchy guitar

You guys playing in minors during the verses? In all honesty the bass threw the song off more than anything. Was too powerful and out of time at times. The vocals were very nice. Id be interested in adding a lead to this......

Keep up the good work.

Sytothe responds:

sure, go ahead, just give credit where it's due, this IS just an early demo for my band Blak Skye, and we'll be practicing it more and more until it's perfect for recording with a full band

Not bad.

You have talent. I like ccr. Your chording is clean, the only thing constructively I could say about this is to practice your strumming technique a little bit. When you get off beat you dont get back in smoothly, it just comes with practice...how long have you been playing guitar? All in all not bad. Singing really helps make this song. Keep practicing, practice your lower notes singing, you let your voice go flat yet when you get in your range you have natural vibrato ie when you sing "I know: and "ago" anyways. good job. I like it.

Sytothe responds:

Thanks for the info man, appriciate it... I have been practicing, and when I recorded this song I had only been playing guitar for 2 years... without any lessons or anything so I know it does need work... but I'll be putting new stuff up, you should check it out

Nice cover

Esp just guitar and vocals. Guitar went off a time or time, nothing major, mostly noticable because there's nothing to help cover it, ie drums and bass.

I like your voice though. With a little training, you could be a good rock singer. Would be interested in getting you to sing for me in a collab. Maybe sweet child of mine or something? Let me know and I'll work up something.

Ps. You said in review you left me on a sweet child solo of mine that you wanted free bird...I added it, if you wanna check it out...

Message me though if you'd be interested in singing for me.

Sytothe responds:

I think that would be sick, you send me the instrumental and I'll work on my vox. I have been working on my vocals alot so hopefully I'll sound better :P

Feel special, this is my first 10

I dont give them out freely haha.

I really enjoyed this. Kinda wish it was more of a serious song, but the tone is amazing, good timing and style. The singing helped complete it....it sounded like cookie monster and death metal deep screaming (pointing out the obvious I know) but it was a nice idea.

Keep up the good work, you should have him sing for you on another song, a more serious one....

Zakimations responds:

lol it was such a spur of the moment vocal part, we were all drunk and he said "you should do a metal cookie monster song." and there u go. thanks for the review!

Nice to see someone on here with talent.

As a fellow guitarist, it's nice to see someone else on here with a lil talent. A lil heavier than what I generally play, but I dont have a very heavy setup right now. Plus I'm more of a 80s rock guy. But I enjoy your music...I like your cookie song riff the best though....love the tone of your setup.

Love the rhythm once you get past the first 2 bars

First two bars were kind of sloppy then that thrash riff hit and it started rocking. The vocals are the only thing I can complain about. The deep growl seemed to fit this more than the other 2 voices. The solo wasn't bad either, check out my version and let me know what you think.

Jakisdead responds:

Thanks, bro. I'm glad you enjoyed it overall.

Nice job just speed it up

And it will rock. I feel like I'm listening to it on a bogged down computer. Speed it up about 20 bpm and you will be rocking. I like the extended lead and drum solo toward the end.

I'm a man of few words, but if anyone wants to talk I won't turn a deaf ear. If the house ain't a rocking, when you come a knocking, come on in, I must be dead.
