Feel special, this is my first 10

I dont give them out freely haha.

I really enjoyed this. Kinda wish it was more of a serious song, but the tone is amazing, good timing and style. The singing helped complete it....it sounded like cookie monster and death metal deep screaming (pointing out the obvious I know) but it was a nice idea.

Keep up the good work, you should have him sing for you on another song, a more serious one....

Zakimations responds:

lol it was such a spur of the moment vocal part, we were all drunk and he said "you should do a metal cookie monster song." and there u go. thanks for the review!

Love the rhythm once you get past the first 2 bars

First two bars were kind of sloppy then that thrash riff hit and it started rocking. The vocals are the only thing I can complain about. The deep growl seemed to fit this more than the other 2 voices. The solo wasn't bad either, check out my version and let me know what you think.

Jakisdead responds:

Thanks, bro. I'm glad you enjoyed it overall.

Nice job man

Nice touch, don't hear many try to add their voice to it, my singing sucks so I quit yrs back. Not sure if I like the improv solo compared to other versions, but the rest is pretty kick ass. Check out my version and let me know what ya think.

Extar responds:

I only have the patience for improv solos, I can't see much point in learning someone else's solo. I wish more people would do vocals on here too. Thanks for the review and I'll be sure to check out your version.

Nice sound

Reminds me of flooding down in texas by srv, the style anyway. The vocals aren't that bad, you have the blues sound. Jimi and SRV never won an award for their vox either. Keep it up man. Did you play the piano and all?

BonesUndug22 responds:

No, Bloodfest put down the music, and I just layed out a rough vox. Thank you for the review!

Good job again

Thought the rhythm sounds a lot like the main verse riff for the unforgiven, but it has a little variation so I won't knock it for that.

Biggest thing, like the other guy said is to watch about clashing moments. One technique I have used a couple of times is alternating solos in different octaves with a short overlap as they change. Or if you have a good mixing studio, simply fade a guitar out when it clashes too heavily rather than redo the whole track.

Anyway, keep up the good work, practice makes perfect and noone is perfect.

Naitzmic responds:

No, wait a second!
Go ahead and knock me! lol
I didn't realize it when I made this (not a fan of Metallica, so y'know) but the base chords ARE the same as for Unforgiven. XD

Really good job

Like some of the other guys have said, it is hard to juggle a lot of tracks at times. I use cakewalk on mine and things still get screwy. I always try to tune my guitar before I record each track. But back to the song, very well done. Never heard the original, but this is good. Only thing I could say to watch and improve on is your slides into notes, heard several that you fat fingered. But keep practicing, your music sounds good, good voice.

Naitzmic responds:

Hey, thanks alot.
Appreciate it, dude.

Great Job

This is my favorite song of yours. Again needs some vocals, but it shows off your talent.

Also some of your songs scores are lower than they should be, helped out your crunk song as much as I could. Keep em coming. Need to work on a complete song one day, including vocals. Hell send the song to someone who can sing, let them add themselves in as a joint effort haha. Something I need to do on mine...

Anyways keep it up man. All my 5 are belong to this

rocker206 responds:

Hey thanks for the review man! And thanks for your votes. And as for the vocals.....someday....when I find a decent metal vocalist. Thanks again!

Great Job

Reminds me a lot of the older Kid Rock style songs, like Prodigal Son he rereleased on the History of Rock...

Anyways good song man, actually loved the sound of the solo, sat down til I learned it just now.
One thing people need to learn is that soloing is an art, it doesn't have to be hyperpicked appregios to sound good. Keep it up.

rocker206 responds:

Yeah it's been along time since I recorded this song. Still one of my personal fav's lol. I'll have to do a song like this again sometime. Anyways thanks for your review man and I'm glad you liked my song.

I'm a man of few words, but if anyone wants to talk I won't turn a deaf ear. If the house ain't a rocking, when you come a knocking, come on in, I must be dead.
